Hey, there. This is my first post to EcommerceHero.com. My purpose for creating this site is to help you attract more targeted traffic to your online store and also sell more to your existing customers. As the CEO & founder of the InstanteStore shopping cart software, I’ve seen my fair share of people who’ve succeeded and of course those who’ve failed.
I’ll give you my own insights on how to start an online store that’s ready for success plus share any new tips or tactics that’ll help you to generally make more money with your online business.

About The Ecommerce Hero
The Ecommerce Hero has a real name…
My name is Charles Tang and I am The Ecommerce Hero. You might be wondering why I started this site or even why I chose a name like “Ecommerce Hero”.
Well, I’m sure you’ve watched super-hero movies or even read comic books when you were younger (hey, I’m still young ;-)). Have you ever wondered what it would feel like being a “super hero”? Well, I did (and still do!).
Since I neither have the physique nor the good looks of your traditional super hero, the closest I can get is to become “The Ecommerce Hero”.
Seriously, though, I’ve been selling online since 1998. I was fortunate enough to start off at a time when there was little if any competition online. So, being successful during those times was MUCH easier. My first site was built using Microsoft FrontPage (a website building software) and it looked so bad that I would be embarassed to show it to you now. However…
The ugly little site worked like crazy!
I was still in college then but I was already making more than a thousand dollars a week from that little site. You can bet I was pretty excited then! :-). I was selling mobile phones through that site. The best thing was that I didn’t have to deal with stocking the mobile phones, etc. The site literally just collected leads that was automatically passed to the company.
That small success got me excited enough to start other online retail sites, all of which have been successful…
Now, as the CEO & founder of InstanteStore.com (an online shopping carts software provider), I’m privileged to have an insider view of all the online businesses started by our clients. We have our fair share of clients who started off with nothing but gained great success over a short period of time. Of course, there are those who start off and struggle to make any sales… even months down the line.
What separates them, though?
Having this insider view coupled with my own experience operating a successful online store, I could literally see where the ones who failed went wrong. Similarly, I can also clearly see which internet marketing tactics gave the most “bang for the buck” with quick & potent results.
So, my mission as the Ecommerce Hero is not to rid the world of evil… I’ll leave that to the chisel jawed super-hero with bulging biceps.
